Straighten Your Smile with Confidence and Comfort
Orthodontics is the dental specialty focused on diagnosing, preventing, and treating misaligned teeth and jaws. These issues not only affect your appearance but can also impact your oral health and overall quality of life. At Acing Smiles Family Dental, we offer comprehensive orthodontic care using the latest technology—including both traditional braces and clear aligners—to help you achieve a beautiful, functional smile.
Treatment Options Tailored to You
Clear Aligners
- Virtually invisible and removable
- Custom-made using 3D digital scans
- Comfortable and ideal for mild to moderate misalignment
- Allows you to eat, brush, and floss without restrictions
Why Choose Orthodontic Treatment?
- Better Oral Health– Straight teeth are easier to clean, reducing your risk of cavities and gum disease
- Enhanced Appearance– A straight smile boosts self-esteem and confidence
- Improved Function– Proper alignment improves chewing, speaking, and bite stability
- Comfort & Convenience– Especially with aligners, which are discreet, smooth, and easy to manage
Common Issues Orthodontics Can Address
Nearly 9 out of 10 people have some degree of tooth misalignment. Without treatment, misaligned teeth may lead to:
- Chipped or worn front teeth
- Food trapping and difficulty flossing
- Higher risk of decay and gum disease
- Jaw pain or TMJ symptoms
- Increased risk of systemic issues like heart disease, Alzheimer’s, or stroke due to chronic inflammation
Your Journey to a Perfect Smile
1. Consultation & Treatment Planning
Your journey starts with a comprehensive consultation, including digital scans, photos, and X-rays. Dr. Wang will assess your bite, alignment, and overall oral health to determine the most effective treatment plan for you.
If aligners are the recommended option, we’ll use advanced software to design your personalized treatment. You’ll even get a preview of your future smile before treatment begins.
2. Treatment Process
- Custom-made sets of aligners are created for each stage of your treatment
- Some cases may require small attachments to assist with movement (they’re barely noticeable!)
- You’ll wear each set for about two weeks, 20–22 hours per day
3. Follow-Up Appointments
Follow-up visits occur every 4–8 weeks to review progress, receive your next sets of aligners, and make minor adjustments if needed.
Why Act Now?
Misaligned teeth tend to worsen over time, making treatment longer and more complicated. Early intervention is:
- Simpler– Address issues before they become severe
- Faster– Less movement means quicker treatment
- More Affordable– Shorter treatment can mean lower costs
- More Predictable– With digital planning, we can forecast your final results with precision
